Set in the near-future
and revolving around an immense terrorist
threat in New York City, Parabellum is a
free-to-play first-person shooter powered
by Unreal Engine 3. I worked on the
development of three levels for which I
had the following responsibilities:
- Location
research and gathering reference
images (incl. a five day presence
in New York)
- Creating
floorplans and blocking out level
layouts in BSP
- Implementing
gameplay logic
- Whiteboxing
and defining modular mesh
components
- Lighting
and Post Process settings
- Mesh
and prop placement
- Profiling
and Optimization
